From the Farm to the Fair: Coastal Sun Brings Home Two Medals

We have some exciting news from Sacramento. Coastal Sun has been recognized with two medals at the 2026 California Cannabis Awards, held as part of the California State Fair Cannabis Experience.

Our Mixed Light-grown GMO Garlic Cookies earned:

Silver for Mixed Light Flower – Sum Cannabinoids

Bronze for Mixed Light Flower – CBDa

For us, this recognition is about much more than bringing home a couple of medals.

The California Cannabis Awards celebrate the incredible diversity, craftsmanship, and innovation happening across California cannabis. To be recognized alongside so many talented cultivators from around the state is an honor, and a reminder of why we do what we do every day.

Every harvest begins with healthy soil, thoughtful cultivation, and a team of people who genuinely care about the plants in front of them. From propagation to harvest, and trimming to packaging, there are countless hands that help bring our flower to life. These medals belong to every person on our team.

They also belong to our community.

Later this month, from July 29th-August 2nd, you can again find the Coastal Sun team at the California State Fair Cannabis Experience, where we'll be hanging out at our shared booth with ECCO Certifiers, talkin’ organic farming, answering questions, and celebrating another year of California agriculture.
