New Baby Goats Join the Coastal Sun Farm!

Two baby goats with white coats on their body and light and dark brown coats on their head rest with their mother behind a metal fence on a straw-covered ground.

This week, we welcomed two new baby goats to the Coastal Sun family: Ramsy and Baaarbie!

Goats have played a key role in our field production and farming techniques over the years. On an annual basis, our community of goats process the winter cover crop and turn it into nutrient rich fertilizer, charging the soil for a productive growing season. The goats also add diversity and resilience to the farm, provide a more natural method of weed control, and most importantly, they make us smile on a daily basis.
